WHITELOCK John Matthew JP,OBE 22/11/1930 - 20/4/2022 passed away peacefully at 91 years.  Dearly loved and cherished husband of Lyndall (nee Craw) for 66 extra special years.  Son of the late George & Emily Whitelock (Newbury), brother and brother-in-law of Murray (deceased), Margaret & Keith Morriss and Alison & Bill Weld.  Much loved father & father-in-law to Kristine & Roy Funnell (Opiki), Braeden & Caroline Whitelock (Linton), Joanne & David Hazlitt (Linton) and Reece & Debbie Whitelock (Te Aute).  Grandfather of 14 grandchildren and great grandfather of 25, loved by his extended family and nieces and nephews. A service to celebrate John’s life will be held at St Luke’s Lutheran Church, 250 Church Street, Palmerston North at 11.30am Tuesday 26 April 2022 – followed by a private family interment at Kelvin Grove Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers donations to St Johns, Palmerton North would be appreciated.  Messages for the Whitelock family c/- PO BOX 5191, Palmerston North.
